As we know RIM always update the OS for all blackberry phones. There are many benefits when you update the OS to the latest version such as fixed bugs, more stable and more. But sometime we do not know How to upgrade the OS on my BlackBerry phones. to update OS is easy all you have to do is following the steps below.
- Download and install to PC the latest version of Desktop Manager from here: ( BlackBerryOperating System Downloads ).
- Download the new OS you want and install it to the PC.
- Open Desktop Manager and do a complete backup of your current device.
- Delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\\program files\\common files\\research in motion\\apploader.
- Plug in BB and open Desktop Manager.
- Select Application Loader.
- You will be prompted to upgrade.
